The Seven Habits

With the very short period of time available with me to type this post, let me take a walk down the memory lane to brush up the pages of one of the books, among the very few books, that I have read fully in my life. The book is one among the million books that claim to have sold over many million copies...It is Stephen Covey’s The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I’m sure this book would have genuinely sold over many million copies; and millions of people would have been benefitted by the book. I had a brush with this book in the late 90s, when I was a bright* Chemical engineering graduate. The book had a huge and spontaneous impact on me. And till today I clearly remember what those seven habits were....but the problem is that I just remember them. Those habits exist only in my mindscape. Over the past one decade or so those seven habits have tried hard to jump out of my mental makeup and see the real world, but only in vain. Not even one of them could face reality so far.

And things have gone to that extent that here I’m about to tell you about another set of seven habits – The Seven Habits of Highly Defective People

Habit 1 – Don’t work. Just network.
Habit 2 – The best decision is no decision.
Habit 3 – Be safe; Be with the crowd.
Habit 4 – Over-promise; Under-deliver.
Habit 5 – Talk like an expert.
Habit 6 – Delegate everything; Claim everything.
Habit 7 – Be everywhere; Do nothing.

More Habits are welcome....
Any?
